Although Ayers Rock 25 km (16 mi) gets all of the fame, Kata Tjuta / Mount Olga is pretty spectacular in its own right. This group of 36 rocky domes also rises mysteriously out of the flat Outback, with the highest peaking 546 m (1,791 ft) above the plain. If you're keeping score, that's 198 m (650 ft) higher than Ayers Rock. If you've come all this way to see the more famous of the rock formations, don't miss this one.     The Olgas are worth a visit its about 40 kilometers from Yulara, do yourself a favor and get up early (you need to have a hire car) to do the 8 kilometers circuit walk, take water with you & fly nets....  more »

    Lovely place, scenic, awesome and majestic. Just remember out is also a holy place and sacred site to the Anangu

    The place was fantastic. Did both views and the big walk back. Some difficult parts to climb up or down but definitely doable for even the unfit. Its a good long walk so take some water and find a day that's not too hot. Well worth doing whilst in the area. The views and the panoramic shots are amazing and the photos just don't do the place justice. An amazing experience.
