Brest Railway Station Building, Brest

4.5
See a Neoclassical waiting hall in its original 19th-century design at Brest Railway Station Building. The Russian emperor, Alexander III, led the opening ceremony from the platform of the new station in the summer of 1886. The architectural complex was damaged during the two world wars and has been restored several times. Notice the red Soviet star that crowns the highest tower of the complex. A big portion of the large square in front of the station serves as a parking lot. The station also features a modern waiting hall, built in 1975.
