Guardalavaca Beach, Holguin

When Christopher Columbus landed near Guardalavaca Beach in 1492, he wrote in his journal this was one of the most beautiful spots he had ever seen. Sheltered by green hills and coral reefs, the beach offers numerous water sports and activities. Snorkel or scuba dive near the wildlife-rich reefs, swim in the turquoise waters, play a round of beach volleyball, or rent a kayak to see the scenic surroundings from a different perspective.
