Delve into Belum Caves for a journey through one of the longest limestone cave systems on the Indian subcontinent. The caves feature long passages, freshwater galleries, and spacious chambers--and lots of stalactites and stalagmites. Historians believe these caverns were occupied by Buddhist and Jain monks centuries ago, which makes them an important site for both scientists and worshippers. Good Discovery of Under ground Caves. Nicely paved to go inside and discover the place. Simply astonished to hear the story about the caves. Dreaming about how the Buddhist saints stayed in those caves. There are some more places in Andhra were the Buddhists stayed and the monuments are still there. Liked to visit this place and lived the history of this caves.
It's one of the deepest excavation. it's quite a bit scary and thrilled to go into caves with low visibility and less ventilation.as we go into the deep oxygen level will decrease and suffocation increases ,for every 50 mts or were ever possible organizers kept oxygen vents were we can get relaxed and can start of again. Definitely it's one of best places to visit and feel the thrill and get out of your fear cheers...
