  • A good place to spend sometime for history buffs since it has a lot of information. Its attached with the Cellular jail and has 2 sections.

  • It's part of Cellular Jail- accquainting you with freedom fighters that were part of the prison. It also has episodes that brought them here by britishers. Good place to read history and understand...

  • This is one of the best museums of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The entrance fee is 250 per person. It is located beside the main road and easily visible from traffic. It is a private museum and the staff have taken great care to maintain the place. Firstly, the overall ambience is calm and soothing. All the floors are very neat, well-lit and well ventilated. Secondly, this museum is an information warehouse with every nook full of beautiful historic pictures and facts. Thirdly, the staff have complete knowledge of the history of the Islands and make sure the visitors know about it. They also ensure, visitors follow the correct route within the museum , so as not to miss anything. Complimentary tea/juice is offered. Visitors will also leave with a DVD containing the history of the Islands. The museum follows a strict no photos policy, hence no photos to share. Overall , this place is a must see.
  • The tourist guides get good money if they bring people here.. So they definitely recommend this and bring you here.. Very costly.. A small house which is converted into museum.. Do not waste money.. Even if you go, Do not take elders they will be unable to walk all the way up.. And the person who manages is an arrogant one.. Not to mention he is the only one who knows English..
