Blue Mountain Peak is the highest mountain in Jamaica and one of the highest peaks in the Caribbean at 2,256 metres (7,402 ft). It is the home of Blue Mountain coffee. It is located on the border of the Portland and Saint Thomas parishes of Jamaica.

The Blue Mountain Peak is part of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015.

  • The adventure started when I was picked up at the bus terminal in Kingston. It was a 2-hour drive to a Rasta lodge somewhere in the Blue Mountains. The drive was slow as we ventured on some pretty...  more »
  • Lovely, nature as it is! Be prepared for a long walk up , as it is in nature the walk can be wet, slippery and rocky. The way down is sharp and hard on the knees (lol) Be fit before you try  more »
  • Lovely lovely lovely was challenging as expected and it did not disappoint. I only needed my poncho which I forget so I was left soaking wet and cold at the peak in the cold November morning
  • The experience was all too intense, nonetheless, I needed to take on the challenge! Honestly, it was a hard hike but the Blue Mountains is really beautiful, a site that should be morely exploited in Jamaica.
