Santa Maria Beach, Cabo San Lucas

#4 of 10 in Beaches in Cabo San Lucas
Beach · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Snorkel on Santa Maria Beach a horseshoe-shaped stretch of sand nestled between cactus-covered cliffs. A protected area, the secluded beach is a haven for marine life, so bring snorkelling gear to explore the calm, clear waters filled with tropical fish. Lounge on the soft golden sand, sunbathe, or swim in the sea. The beach is relatively remote and offers little shade, so bring plenty of food and water, as well as a beach umbrella. • Lovely beach area to spend a nice time in. One of the few coastal beaches in the area that can be used for swimming. The small bay was very clean when we went to visit. It wasn't crowded and maintained a reasonable exchange of visitors during our time there.
  • went there for calmer beach but waves were 6 ft high. Beach was all pebbles hard on the feet. Great location and scenery. Could not swim.
