#6 of 224 in Outdoors in Cozumel
Everything is catered for at Paradise Beach a tropical corner of coastal bliss. You can enjoy views of the soft white sands, lapped by turquoise shores, from the comfort of your sun lounger (included in the entry price). The beach also offers a clear, shimmering pool, surrounded by leafy palms, with premium food and drinks available. If you’ve got some little ones to entertain, consider purchasing a “Fun Pass” for the shoreline's inflatable water park, complete with a 4.2 m (14 ft) climbing iceberg, water trampolines, and slides. Our Cozumel tour planner makes visiting Paradise Beach and other Cozumel attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

We were the 2nd time in Paradise and just returned because our first experience was very good. But this time we had a disappointment in relation to price. The entry is still costing however $3.00 is charged a fee of $21.00 per person to use the water park at sea. We were with our 6 year old son so my husband bought two tickets (one for him and one for my son). In no time we were warned that for small children is almost impossible climb in toys, unless the adult make a lot of effort. My husband also has swimming had to push to get my kid on the toy, that would slip over the water. Completion, in less than 10 minutes, the two came out of the water and spend $42 more, no need. As I recall the first time wasn't charged any fee to use the toys. Apart from this part, the rest was great as always, very good pool and the dishes served at restaurant also very good, on average charged for other restaurants.

I would not recommend the paradise beach, beach is stinky and beach water is not clear. My whole family was disappointed. For $3 entrance fees and min $10.00 spend per person. Definitely not worth the...  more »

This was our third straight day of excursions on a RC cruise. We thought by the third day we'd be ready to just relax at the beach. After reading about Mr. Sancho's and Chankanaab, decided that this p...  more »

Good food and good service. The pool is large. The pool water is not super clean, but decent enough. The beach is okay. Probably one of the nicest beaches on the island. The inflatable water toys are a great addition. They have a large area under coconut trees with beach chairs to relax under the shade; very pleasant. I recommend this stop if you're visiting the island.

Huge pool to cool off! Beautiful setting with a large stone and hut canopy to escape the sun. Great local style food and American style of food too! Great music playing and sandy beaches. Do yourself a favor and go to Paradise Beach over any other choice!

Fun in the sun! Nice pool, clean facilities, fun beach play. Great place to party, relax and drink. Staff was very accommodating. It's definitely geared for tourists and don't expect the cheap food/drink prices that you can get from locals in town but it's worth a fun day with the family if shopping isn't what you're after.

Very nice. I loved the platform in the pool i could lay down in the water. There were also pool chairs in the water. The drinks were great! Friendly staff.

Pretty beach with a nice pool and tons of floating obstacles and slides and such. 1 point deducted for the low black corral barriers that you have to watch out for. Fortunately the water is crystal clear and you can easily see them. Just go around them, don't try to walk over them lest you slip and bang your ankles like I did!

Where to stay in Cozumel

Most accommodations in Cozumel line the island's western shoreline, offering excellent beach access and the airport. Avenida Rafael E. Melgar provides the widest range of hotels and private rentals, with some of the more spacious and relaxed options sitting around 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the town center. Budget-conscious travelers should look to the main township, where a selection of smaller guesthouses and pensions can be found just a few streets back from the beach.
