  • This was an interesting tour and I recommend it as an alternative since the money earned us used to help women. With that said, the tour is a bit long and can be improved to convey the purpose of the program while still being entertaining and engaging. The best woman on our tour was the last and we almost didn't have enough time for her.
  • Truly an unforgettable experience. This is an incredible organization that makes microloans to women entrepreneurs in the indigenous villages around Oaxaca. I went on one of their tours, and had the opportunity to meet some of the women in their program. It was truly inspiring to hear the stories of these women--who are working so hard, who face tremendous obstacles, and yet who are filled with such hope and joy. The tour guides were super helpful, and everything was very well organized. This is something that simply must be on your list if you're visiting Oaxaca.
