Muelle de Playa Los Muertos, Puerto Vallarta

#15 of 460 in Things to do in Puerto Vallarta
Pier / Boardwalk · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
Part of the city's renewal program, Muelle de Playa Los Muertos was designed by local architect Jose de Jesus Torres Vega and opened in January 2013. From the pier you can catch panoramic harbor views, watch ships roll in, or catch a water taxi to your destination of choice. Jutting out 100 m (328 ft) into the ocean, the pier lights up in vibrant colors at night, creating a nice place for a romantic walk or spot to grab a drink as you watch the sun set. • What an awesome Pier get there around 6:15 and it's beautiful
  • Really cool pier with tons of conveniences. You can find someone with a boat to rent, excursions, convenience store for necessities, tshotscky stores, pharmacies, bank, ATM, restaurants, etc. all located at that one spot. More centrally located than the marina. No port fee to disembark.
