  • I highly recommend Cabo ! FYI most locals are bilingual and exceedingly helpful! The shopping is divine... the food is delicious and the accommodations where we stayed are fantastic!  more »

  • Plaza Mijares is the centre of activity in the town of San Jose del Cabo. Our hotel Royal Solaris was about 30 minutes walk from the plaza. The plaza is also close to the municipal. The plaza is surrounded by the Catholic Church on one side and shops and restaurants along the three other sides. There always people in the plaza but it becomes very lively on Thursdays for the Art Walk. Artists bring their work to sell. It is a very interesting show of art and you can easily spend hours exploring work displayed in the various stalls Food and drinks are available. And there is an ice cream shop as well.
  • Fun spot. The whole town seems to gather here. Kids on roller skates, dancing, dogs doing tricks. Food carts, etc. Thursday art Walk is great. Come on a Sunday afternoon like a local, grab a bench and watch the city walk by.
