Here we found a person who explained the processing of these marine fossils, from the extraction to the realization of the finished product. The visit is interesting, there is the possibility to buy from the smallest objects (bracelets, ashtrays, etc.) to the larger and more valuable one (tables, sinks, etc.). Ability to have you delivered home, by courier, the most bulky pieces that are also of considerable invoice. Very interesting.

It is curious the shapes they take, and the designs they offer both in tables and in sinks or anything else decoration.
A veritable cornucopia of fossils and minerals, all found locally. Some of the pieces are spectacular. The prices aren't the cheapest but the standard of workmanship is high. Worth a visit.
Beware of the tourist trap! Aside from the fact that the only reason tours bring you here is to entice you to spend your disposable income, this place is awesome. They hand carve sinks, tables, murals and an assortment of other household items from slabs of rock that once sat at the bottom of the ocean hundreds of millions of years ago. All of the slabs are filled with fossils of cephalopods or squids or jellyfish or starfish. Wicked cool place to stop and gaze into Morocco's past.
