I last visited this venue with my husband 8 years ago. Now I returned with my two young children. Day was very hot so the wild dogs and wolves hid in the shade in the thicket. But I have seen huge changes in the last few years. There is a large and wonderful farmyard set up with a huge array of animals now. Kids could feed the animals with food from the reception area. There are also guides who are available to take you on a very informative excursion. There is a simple novelty shop- pretty expensive and a simple outdoors decked restaurant. It serves very basic but cheap meals. Entry to the venue is very affordable. In the end I don't mind paying for the sake of maintaining the animals. A number of the animals have been rescued situations. Kids enjoyed the morning there .
Well worth the R100 entry fee. The wolves are absolutely beautiful. There is a petting zoo at the back. Entrance comes with a complimentary bag of animal feed to give to the various animals there. The place is well kept and staff are very friendly. There is a small kitchen so you can have a bite to eat while you drink a cool drink. Quite an experience.
