  One of the first heritage sights I've visited in South Africa and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The house has been well preserved to blend just the right amount of Mandela's history as well as his legacy. Entry is cheap, you also get a free tour as well as being allowed to take an unlimited amount of pictures anywhere in the premises. The are a lot more things to be said about Mandela's house but I suggest you go out and experience it yourself

  The place is beautiful. A lot of tourist activity. On the day we went the ATM slot was not working so we were unable to go in. One thing I disliked was a local photographer who was literally forcing people to take pictures and people have their own cameras.
