A popular swimming and picnic spot, Debengeni Waterfall attracts hikers and mountain bikers. Named by the Pedi Tribe meaning "place of the big pot," the site forms a large pool at the base of the waterfall. Dropping from the height of 80 m (262 ft), the falls are nestled amidst a tropical rainforest. Its surroundings are home to over 40 species of indigenous trees and many rare bird species, such as grey wagtail, Christopher robin, and the endemic bush strike.
