Bukhara is known for historic sites, museums, and spas. Kick off your visit on the 12th (Sat): make a trip to University Boulevard, then admire the landmark architecture of Gur Emir Mausoleum, then make a trip to Registan, and finally get a taste of the local shopping with Art Gallery Happy Bird. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Afrasiyab Museum, explore the ancient world of Afrasiyab Museum, look and learn at Ulugh Beg Observatory, appreciate the history behind Shah-i-Zinda, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Bibi-Khanym Mosque Bibi-Xonum, and finally steep yourself in history at Tillya Kori Madrasah.

One of the largest and oldest cities in Central Asia, Tashkent combines layers of history and a bustling modern edge.
Step out of Tashkent to go to Chimgan and see Pulatkhan Plateau, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Khamid Alimdjan, take an in-depth tour of Amir Timur Museum, enjoy breathtaking views from TV Tower, and admire the masterpieces at Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art.
