Instead of Soviet buildings typical of Ukraine, Lviv boasts a charming Central European-style old town with World Heritage Site status.
Step off the beaten path and head to Armenian street and Pidhirtsi Castle. Your inner history buff will appreciate Dominican Cathedral and Potoсki Palace. Step out of Lviv with an excursion to Zolochiv Castle in Zolochiv--about 1h 15 min away. And it doesn't end there: admire the masterpieces at Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, get to know the fascinating history of Staroyevryeiska Street, take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of Sts. Khotyn is a city in Chernivtsi Oblast of western Ukraine, and is the administrative center of Khotyn Raion within the oblast, and is located south-west of Kamianets-Podilskyi.
