Uzhhorod is a city located in western Ukraine, at the border with Slovakia and near the border with Hungary. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Goryany Rotunda - St. Anna Church and Holy Protection Cathedral. You'll explore and learn at Subcarpathian Rus' Museum of Folk Architecture and Customs and Jozsef Boksay Art Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Uzhhorod side-trips: Svaliava (Church of Michael the Archangel & Holy Trinity Kirillo-Mefodiyevsky Convent), Mukacheve (St.Martin Cathedral, St. Joseph Chapel, & more) and Lumshory Tanks (in Lumshory). On the 10th (Wed), spend an exhilarating day on the slopes at Ski Resort Pylypets. The adventure continues: brush up on your military savvy at Bunker Linii Arpada, look for all kinds of wild species at Vysokyy Kamin Mountain, don't miss a visit to Linden Alley, and take in the exciting artwork at Ilko Gallery.
