Minsk, Belarus to Tbilisi is an approximately 7- hour combination of bus and flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. The time zone difference when traveling from Minsk to Tbilisi is 1 hour. Traveling from Minsk in August, things will get a bit warmer in Tbilisi: highs are around 38°C and lows about 24°C. Get outdoors at Chaladi Glacier and Mountain Ushba. Your inner history buff will appreciate LaMaria Church and St. Nicholas Church. Change things up with these side-trips from Mestia: Katskhi Pillar (in Katskhi), Martvili Canyon (in Martivili) and Ushguli Ethnographic Museum (in Ushguli). The adventure continues: stroll through Khatsvali Ski Resort, examine the collection at Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ski Resort Tetnuldi.

When traveling from Tbilisi in August, plan for little chillier days in Mestia, with highs around 31°C, while nights are somewhat warmer with lows around 31°C. You'll set off for Batumi on the 10th (Sat).
