Start off your visit on the 1st (Tue): have some family-friendly fun at Ice Skating, thenenjoy the sand and surf at Playa Rompe Olas, thenstroll through Crashboat Beach, and finally visit a coastal fixture at Punta Borinquen Lighthouse. Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. Start off your visit on the 4th (Fri): steep yourself in history at Casa Wiechers-Villaronga, take in the waterfront at La Guancha, and then head off the coast to Isla de Caja de Muertos. On your second day here, relax in the rural setting at Hacienda Tres Angeles and then take in the dramatic scenery at Dona Juana Waterfall.

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Flamenco Beach and Zoni Beach. Discover out-of-the-way places like Tamarindo Beach and Brava Beach. For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
