Vienna, Austria to Lviv is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Vienna to Lviv. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from Vienna in July; daily highs in Lviv reach 29°C and lows reach 15°C. Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sun): Head underground at Bakota/ Submerged Settlement and Remains of Ancient Cave Monastery and then step into the grandiose world of Khotyn Fortress.
