Start off your visit on the 16th (Sat): ponder the world of politics at Interior Ministry/Ministerio del Interior, then stroll through Santa Maria del Mar (Santa Maria Beach), then see the interesting displays at Taquechel Pharmacy Museum, and finally wander the streets of Central Havana. One of the largest resort towns in the Caribbean, Varadero boasts a 20 km (12 mi) long stretch of sand, lined with hotels and all-inclusive resorts.
