Morocco's former capital, Fes enchants visitors with its walled medina, a labyrinthine web of pedestrian-only streets and a World Heritage Site.
For shopping fun, head to Centre de Formation Dans le Metiers de l'Artisinat or Maze of Fez. Medina of Fez and Bou Inania Medersa are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Go for a jaunt from Fes to Moulay Idriss to see Haroune Aqueduct about 1h 20 min away.
