One of the largest resort towns in the Caribbean, Varadero boasts a 20 km (12 mi) long stretch of sand, lined with hotels and all-inclusive resorts.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Wed): meet some fierce fish with a shark diving experience and then enjoy the sand and surf at Varadero Beach. Keep things going the next day: examine the collection at Pharmaceutical Museum, pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia Santa Elvira, then look for all kinds of wild species at Varahicacos Ecological Reserve, and finally steep yourself in history at Ambrosio Cave.
