Escape the urban bustle at Varadero Beach and Shark Diving. Let the collections at Pharmaceutical Museum and Taller de Ceramica Artistica capture your imagination. Go for a jaunt from Varadero to Matanzas to see Bellamar Caves about 52 minutes away. Step out of the city life by going to Rancho Luna Beach and Guanaroca Lagoon. Punta Gorda and Palacio de Valle are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from Cienfuegos with a short trip to Museo Giron in Playa Giron, about 1h 25 min away. There's more to do: admire nature's wide array of creatures at Delfinario de Cienfuegos and make a trip to Parque Jose Marti.

Take a break from the city and head to Topes de Collantes and Parque el Cubano. Yudit Vidal Faife and Trinidad Architecture Museum will appeal to museum buffs. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Ancon Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Convento de San Francisco de Asis, steep yourself in history at Iglesia Parroquial Mayor del Espiritu Santo, and take in the exciting artwork at Galerie D'Art Calleyro.
