Mendocino is an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, California, United States. Escape the urban bustle at Glass Beach and Mendocino Headlands State Park. There's much more to do: cruise along Mendocino Coast, kick back and relax at Van Damme State Park, examine the collection at Sea Glass Museum, and admire the majestic nature at Russian Gulch State Park.

San Francisco to Mendocino is an approximately 3.5- hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or take a bus. When traveling from San Francisco in July, plan for much warmer days in Mendocino, with highs around 95°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 57°F.
