Basel

— 5 nights
Situated where the Swiss, German, and French borders meet, Basel is considered the hub of Dreilandereck, this "three countries corner." Its location makes Basel a center of culture and history, brimming with important theaters and museums.
St. Ursenkathedrale and Basel Paper Mill Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore and learn at Glasi Hergiswil and The Rosengart Collection. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Basel: Bern (Zentrum Paul Klee (Paul Klee Center) & The Cathedral of Bern), Hofkirche (in Lucerne) and Lake Brienz (in Brienz). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Jean Tinguely Museum, make a trip to Tinguely-Brunnen, explore the activities along Thunersee, and get engrossed in the history at Landesmuseum.
