Nouakchott, which means "place of the winds" in Berber language, serves as the capital and largest city of Mauritania, and one of the largest cities in the Sahara.
Spend the 5th (Mon) exploring nature at Arguin Bank National Park. The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Plage de Nouakchott, hunt for treasures at Marche Capitale, admire all the interesting features of Stade Olympique, and take a leisurely stroll along Port de Peche.
