I can’t be too upset, because this facility is so reasonably priced. It seems like an inexpensive way to get a day pass to a pool. It must be especially relaxing on sore muscles. It is worn down, though, and since I visited on a weekday in the off-season, it was sparsely populated with retirees—something, through no fault of their own, did not help refresh the atmosphere. Because I have visited other hot springs before, I wasn’t prepared for the strong sulfur smell. Be warned that a quick rinse afterward might not do it, because I smelled like sulfur (reminded me of pencil erasers) for at least four hours afterward, at which point I took a more thorough shower. Also, the minerals are pretty drying (which makes senses), so maybe bring lotion.

The spring has a very strong smell to it. It doesn't just smell like sulfur so you have to have a strong stomach to stay long. The slides are a lot of fun, especially since there isn't typically a long line. However, the slide is only open weekends for select hours. It is reasonably priced.
