  • As impossible as it sounds there is a spring fed waterfall that runs year round in Death Valley, well technically Panamint Valley. Same desert, so I digress. The gravel road wasn’t challenging to find...  more »
  • Was not easy to find. Gravel road from Main road. Hike starts off in a gravel wash, gradually you see the stream and vegetation starts. A few times we realized we were on the "wrong side" of the strea...  more »
  • The 1st "falls" is a quick-running downhill stream, about 1 mile from the parking area. The main Darwin Falls is quite a hike further in. If you're physically able, it's worth going all the way. If no...  more »

  • Easy hike and worth it. Maybe bring your hiking pole or poles for balance on slippery spots. There was no sign for the hike by the road so look for the white pipe against the rock wall on a dirt road off the highway near Panamint Springs.
  • A short and lovely in-and-out hike in this oasis of Death Valley. You start out on a dry gravel path, with a few shrubs here and there. I would recommend this hike to anyone nearby, and looking for a change in scenery.
  • Surprisingly awesome waterfall in the middle of death Valley. Hike had some scrambling, but was short and easy
  • This is a must see for the whole family. Desert lovers , students of physical geography and microclimate explorers will especially be keen on the remarkable and unique waterfall that you will see, smell and feel at trails end. A short moderate hike of one mile, easy for most except for the 5 or 6 water Xing that are encountered. Wear boots or watersandles for stable footing Follow the pipe to the
  • Awesome hike! No words can describe the awesome feeling of walking up to a waterfall in the desert.
