Bask in Hollywood glamour at Hollywood Walk of Fame, made up of more than 2,500 five-pointed brass stars embedded in the sidewalks stretching along nearly 20 city blocks. A permanent public memorial to achievement in the entertainment industry, the stars bear the names of actors, musicians, directors, producers, and fictional characters who left an indelible mark on American and world culture. Nearly 10 million visitors come to see the stars placed here in honor of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, James Dean, Walt Disney, and thousands of others. To save time looking for your favorite celebrities, use the official website's search tool to find the exact address of their stars before you make the trip. What I like to call the Times Square of LA. Tons of action, visual entertainment is all over. Plenty of activities for the entire family. I recommend coming down to the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame for many things. One that I love to do is go for a walk down the strip and read all the names on the street for blocks. It’s amazing how simply walking down the street can be stimulating and a great time. I recommend coming down on the weekend in the summer if you’re looking for action. I also recommend seeing the street when it’s got the red carpet out. It’s something to see. If you’re lucky you can often catch one of your favourite bands performing outside for free. Well worth the visit. I saw Cypress Hill Outdoors here randomly.

If your really into Hollywood stars, then you definitely want to walk the Holly Walk-of-fame. It is crowded and I don't know of a time, day or night, when it isn't full of people, so watch your children and pets. There is so much to see and do, I really like the wax museum. The character actors are really cool to see, but remember they are working so be sure to tip them when you take pics of them or with them.
