Get ready to experience science first-hand at Adventure Science Center with more than 200 hands-on exhibits. While the exhibits are geared toward children, adults often join the fun--more than 300,000 people visit every year. You'll find displays about beekeeping, the human body, space, biology, and more. A planetarium provides an introduction to the skies and daily laser shows. Tickets to the planetarium are sold separately at the science center's reception desk, where you also can ask about showtimes. If you arrive within two hours of closing, you could receive a discounted ticket for a quick tour. Absolutely tons of things to do! So much fun with many exhibits. Even the play area is accessible for adults. Which is a really great touch as you can read the plaques up on the wall to your kids if need be. We even saw the night watch at the planetarium which was a great show! Best highlight was walking on the moon simulation for my kids and I.
What a great place to bring you children! There is so much to do! It's a very hands on learning experience and kids love it. The space section is awesome! The moonwalk was a hit with the kids. Climbing to the third floor to have a 360 view of Nashville is breathtaking! The view of the city was perfect. Everyone young and old in our group had a fantastic time visiting the Adventure Science Center. It should be on your must do list!
