Lula Cellars, Philo

#3 of 9 in Wineries in Philo
Winery / Vineyard · Food & Drink
At Lula Cellars our goal is simple; to produce world class wines at prices that are easy on your pocket book.

To start with, we sell our wines directly to you. You won't find them in wine shops. By marketing our wines in this manner we have eliminated the middle man mark-ups which would increase the final retail price. This is why our wines are so reasonably priced.

Lula, our namesake, was our winemaker/owner's maternal Grandmother. This remarkable woman, who was born in Oklahoma in 1879, raised three children by herself after the death of her husband, Frank. Her enduring inner strength, faith and love for her children helped guide her through the most difficult of times. Naming our winery after her pays tribute to this incredible woman.

We hope you will enjoy our wines as much as we love making them!

  • Dan is fun, passionate about his wines, full of information about the valley-- and an all around laugh a minute guy who is also provocative in all the best ways. Oh yes,and I think the wines are special. I joined the wine club and since my cellar is over flowing, the wine obviously spoke to me. I just better figure out some entertaining evenings for my wine friends pdq. PS. The whole Anderson valley is a treasure- don't miss it.
  • We (wife & I) were met by Tracy who was very personable. As our tasting went by, we were "ENTERTAINED" by Dan Reed. I say that if a positive way. He was extremely funny. What is the biggest joy was the comfort and good wines we drank. Stop in a learn a few stories.....Thanks, Bob Dias
