We visited Old Town State Park on a Tuesday and most of the buildings were closed. It looked like they are only open Thursday-Monday. There were some shops open, and a lot of the items for sale near..... more »

Tons of little nooks and crannies to explore. There are a ton of shops and restaurants . Well worth the trip!! more »

Just love to stop by and have some fun. San Diego is a great place, but what makes it amazing is the old town atmosphere. A must see attraction if you have never visited. Come hungry and thirsty. Come with some comfy shoes so you can explore the shops (obviously please spend a few bucks and support the local shop owners), but most importantly stay for the evening fiesta. Have some drinks and dance. Its a good place to just let loose.

Good things 1. Beautiful small stores. 2. The market is worth taking a look for gift souvenirs. They also have interesting ghost miniature items on shelf. 3. Melodious live music in the day. 4. Hop on Hop off trolley ride starts here. Could be better 1. Items in stores are expensive.
