  • Kings Canyon beautiful place to visit, lots of trails to walk, incredible nature, nice scenery, worth to go there.  more »
  • Considering it's right next door, it's surprising how different the scenery is. Still awesome, just different. We only had a day so didn't have time for any long walks - just short ones around the Gen...  more »
  • Plan to spend some time exploring and taking it all in. Truly lovely. We went in January but would love to go in various seasons to see the changes. Worth the drive  more »

  • Too much snow yet to see everything. Found out .CA Hwy 245 is really curvy for 31 miles so slow going. Area is beautiful. Amazing trees and canyon
  • It is beautiful. A real way to escape the pressures of society. The natural beauty is so calming and relaxing. There is good security and the wildlife doesn't bother you. The bathrooms are flush so that is good. The night skies are beautifully lit up naturally by the starlight. All the rangers are friendly and well trained to help out in any situation, and they are always patrolling so you will never have to worry if there is an emergency. There is some phone signal up there so you won't be stranded.
  • This place is absolutely beautiful! I really enjoyed spending my time off in this place. I loved the scenes, the hikes and being outdoors. It's a must to visit, can't wait to go back.
  • I actually enjoyed Kings canyon significantly more than Sequoia, both are tremendous and beautiful. However the views and hiking through Kings Canyon are way better. The drive in is nothing but breath taking and quite enjoyable if you have an agile car.
  • Wonderful Vistas and so incredible to be among the giant Sequoia. We were lucky enough to see a young bear foraging for grubs in a fallen log.... from a safe distance!
