Sainte-Chapelle, Paris

It was stunning to see how it is preserved until today. The fine art work on glass representing 4 colors red, blue, green and yellow is satisfying to watch. It reminds us about the glory of artists back then and gives an idea about their dedication, passion and devotion they had about their religion. But at the same time, it also reminds us that nothing in this world lasts forever. I am thankful to the ticket checker who let me in for free with my friends. The staff was very nice as well.

It's a beautiful chapel, especially because it has been well preserved and repaired from time to time. There are brochures at the entrance in various languages which present the story of chapel in an interesting manner. Additionally, what I really liked was a television inside explaining how various parts, sculptures and glasses are repaired or replaced. And the lower part of the building actually has the replaced parts for us to see. Must visit! PS: It's free for students up to the age of 15.
