If you need swimming and snorkeling do not go there. The beach is not for these type of activities. There are a lot of glass boats and no swimming at all. Great disappointment. Photos of Kabira beach are all over Japan, but actually there is nothing to see there apart from crowds of boats, smell of gas, and narrow strip of sand. Go to Sukuji Beach (2 km away) for sun, water and white sand.
