Museo de Las Americas serves as an art museum dedicated to the Native American tribes from all over the Americas. Observe exhibits detailing the different peoples from around the Americas and where they originated from and lived. A highlight is the bronze castings and statues that display prominent figures from specific tribes. Another room's exhibits display folk art of the indigenous people with several examples. A separate display room focuses on Puerto Rico (instead of the Americas as a whole) and gives a great walkthrough of the indigenous people's history. • Very impressive museum! We got there about 45 minutes before closing and were able to at least walk through each room! Could have easily spent a half day here. Perfect mix of art and archeology!
  • Small, well curated art museum. Only five of the eight exhibits were open but they were well worth the visit. We spent about two hours there before they closed for lunch and could have easily spent more time. I wish they had more information on some of the artifacts and a more robust gift shop. However for just a few dollars per person entry and a truly moving experience, no complaints.
