  • This is a small museum on the grounds of the University. Much of the museum is closed, but there are a few rooms of artwork. The artwork is mostly print media depicting the struggles of the people...

  • It’s amazing the 500 years exhibition at this museum celebrating the 500 years of the Old San Juan city foundation. Beautiful showcases and the awesome design makes this exhibition one of the most important history of the slavery arts and confection of sacred artifacts dated of the 15,16,17,18,19 centuries. The Jose Campeche paintings and his family history is such one of the most interesting history about a slave descendants and how they work together as a family on those days and under the Spaniard crown. The influences of other artists from many other European countries like Holland which was critically dishonor by the Catholic Church. The art of those modern & contemporary visionaries who showed the Via Dolorosa on his perspective was one of the most impressive ones. At all , congratulations to everyone who took care of the most important “Exhibition of the Millennium” San Juan 500 years of history and last but not least… the amazing welcoming and kindness of those employees at the museum. Bless you all and may God bless the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and their good people.
  • Quaint walled plaza. They used to have the market inside this "cuartel". The tents used to be distributed along the hallways in the "periphery", leaving the central-outdoor square for an occasional performance. It's available for private $$ parties 🎉 or events.
