Basel — 5 nights

Situated where the Swiss, German, and French borders meet, Basel is considered the hub of Dreilandereck, this "three countries corner." Its location makes Basel a center of culture and history, brimming with important theaters and museums.
Glasi Hergiswil and The Rosengart Collection are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore and learn at Basel Paper Mill - Swiss Museum for Paper, Writing and Printing and Zentrum Paul Klee (Paul Klee Center). Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Basel: Hofkirche (in Lucerne), St. Ursenkathedrale (in Soleure) and Lake Brienz (in Brienz). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Jean Tinguely Museum, make a trip to Town Hall, explore the activities along Thunersee, and get engrossed in the history at Landesmuseum.
